Case Study: Cultural Preservation. RL | A was asked to envision, develop, and execute a communications campaign supporting legal complaints by CARE (Californians for Renewable Energy), and La Cuna de Aztlán Sacred Sites Protection Circle, in response to the siting of energy projects in the Mojave Desert on and around Native American “sacred sites.”

The campaign includes press releases, media outreach and support, investor relations and outreach, blog and social media management, policy white papers, rapid response videos, a feature documentary film, and original writing for magazines, blogs and newspapers.

“Who Are My People?” (2015) is a one hour film about the build out of large energy facilities across the deserts of the West. The film follows four Native American elders as they seek to preserve their ancient cultural resources.
